The Hooman Asbaghi Case

A filing is not a verdict. Nothing on this site is a finding of liability.

Section 04d

The AT&T statement

An AT&T employee wrote to Hooman in 2020 about what happened in the Del Mar store. In 2024 he signed a statement. In 2026 he swore a California declaration before a San Diego notary. This page is that witness file. Names that appear here — Goodrich, Barraza, the sister — click back to this same window.

1 · On the record

What anyone can check

Three writings from one man. A public store. Two public career pages that put the named managers in San Diego retail in those years. The operational claims — SIM collection, account access, a sister at the counter — are his. They are stronger because he wrote the sister incident in 2020, not only after a lawsuit. They are not a jury verdict.

Documented · 13 Feb 2020

He wrote it while it was still close

Saqvan Ali emailed Hooman on 13 February 2020. He dates the store incident to 24 June 2018. Kameron Panahi was with him. The woman was Hooman’s sister. She asked them to delete the iCloud on the phone. They refused. His sentence then: they were out to spy on him, and the best connection they had was sister. That is the first recorded outreach in this file.

Del Mar Highlands, Suite D2

AT&T Store San Diego Del Mar Highlands, 3435 Del Mar Heights Rd., Suite D2. The locator is public. This is the store in the email, the 2024 statement, and the 2026 declaration. How close it sits to where he lived is circumstantial geography. The home address is not on this site.

AT&T’s old store page for this address no longer resolves. The center directory still prints Suite D2.

John Goodrich was the Del Mar manager

Public LinkedIn: Retail Store Manager, Del Mar, June 2017–January 2019. That window covers 24 June 2018. Saqvan swears that in 2018 Goodrich said words substantially similar to “Hooman's not crazy. These crazy ass people track him all day. I wonder why.” The title is documented. The sentence is the witness.

Documented · LinkedIn

Jesus Barraza ran the area

Public LinkedIn: Jesus M. Barraza, MBA, Area Retail Sales Manager, July 2014–March 2025, Chula Vista, seventeen AT&T distribution points. The 2026 declaration calls him District Manager and says he told Saqvan to stay away from matters involving Hooman and to let management handle him. Right name, right company, right region, overlapping years. Not a finding he ordered surveillance.

2 · The sister in the store

Named Ommid in the 2026 declaration.

This is not a second sister page. Click her name anywhere in this file and you are in her door; click the store incident there and you are back here. The 2026 declaration names her “Ommid.” The 2020 email says “hooman asbaghi sister.” The 2024 statement says she ran in about iCloud on a phone bought for their mother. Three writings. One window.

Date conflict, kept: 24 June 2018 in the 2020 email; early 2019 in 2024 and 2026. The core is stable — sister, Del Mar, iCloud, she did not want him to see what was on the phone, they would not delete it. Kameron Panahi is named as present in 2020; the 2026 packet lists his statement as not currently obtained.

3 · The people he named

Public pages put them in those seats

Investigation stills, not a finding they did what is claimed. The question for a judge or a jury is what happened inside the store. The question this page can answer is whether the named people were real AT&T retail managers in San Diego in those years. They were.

4 · 2024 signed · 2026 sworn

The later packets. The notary is 2026.

26 March 2024 is a signed narrative: SIM receipts, a “crazy and Schizophrenic” briefing, Stephen Eisermann, Kathy Amir Teymour in March 2024, a name list. 19 June 2026 is the California declaration — thirty-six scanned pages, penalty of perjury, Savannah Stackhouse, COMM. #2516436. The notarized packet is one window. Every page is in that window. Phantom Secure and Anom appear in the 2024 text; they are not independently verified here, and they are not in the 2026 declaration.

Saqvan Ali — notarized declaration, 19 June 2026

One packet. 36 pages. Read the declaration, then the analysis on the right. California notary Savannah Stackhouse, COMM. #2516436, San Diego County, commission expires April 5, 2029. Executed 6-19-26 at San Diego.

Thirty-six-page declaration by Saqvan Ali, resident of San Diego, employed by AT&T Mobility January 2017 through March 2021 as a Customer Service Representative at Del Mar Highlands / Del Mar Heights. Purpose: preserve personal observations, not to reach conclusions beyond his knowledge. He says SIM information associated with Hooman was routinely collected and given to management; people accessed accounts when Hooman was not present; he called AT&T ethics/hotline about ten to fifteen times; he was told to stay away and mind his own business; he received a final warning for alleged insubordination; he left March 2021. Parties page names John Goodrich as former Del Mar store manager, Jesus Barraza as district manager who told him to stay away, and Brian Brown. 2018 Goodrich quote, “words substantially similar to”: “Hooman's not crazy. These crazy ass people track him all day. I wonder why.” Early 2019: he personally witnessed Hooman’s sister, “Ommid,” enter Del Mar “visibly emotional and distressed,” discuss electronic accounts, and indicate she had passwords, messages, photographs, iCloud-related information, and other account data on her phone, and that she did not want Hooman to become aware of it. Penalty of perjury, 19 June 2026. Notary: Savannah Stackhouse.

Establishes. A California-notarized declaration exists. The witness puts the same store, the same managers, a Goodrich quote that contradicts the “crazy” briefing, ethics-line reports, and the sister — named Ommid — on the iCloud/phone incident. This 2026 text is more careful than 2024: it does not rest on Anom or Phantom Secure. The notary seal is on the face.

Does not establish. Not a court finding and not AT&T’s admission. He says he no longer has copies of the ethics reports because they were on company equipment returned at separation. Kameron’s corroborating statement is listed in the packet as not currently obtained. CSR January 2017–March 2021 conflicts with the 2024 “assistant manager / started March 2018” face. Sister dated early 2019 here and June 24 2018 in the 2020 email. Brian Brown is named; the LinkedIn folder supplied for that name is a New York National Director of Consulting and is not this exhibit. Street-level home address is held off.

Conflict

Where his own papers disagree

Conflict · job title

CSR 2017, or assistant manager 2018

2026: Customer Service Representative, January 2017 through March 2021. 2024: assistant manager, started March 2018, met Hooman about July 2018. Both faces stay. The 2026 sworn packet is the one that dates the employment window. Neither face is a LinkedIn still of Saqvan — that page is not in this file.

Conflict · sister’s date

24 June 2018, or early 2019

The 2020 email is specific: June 24 2018. 2024 and 2026 say early 2019. Specific contemporaneous dating beats a later round number for when it happened. It does not erase the later papers. It also does not let us pretend the dates already match.

Hold · Brian Brown

Named. Not the New York LinkedIn.

2024 and 2026 name Brian Brown as a district-level manager who received SIM information or handled the account. The folder supplied under that name is Brian Brown, National Director of Sales, AT&T Consulting, New York City — a different seat, a different coast. Publishing that still as identity proof would be a mistake. It is not on this page. Identity of the San Diego Brian/Bryan Brown remains open.

Hold · name list

Nydegger is not an AT&T manager

The 2024 list is names Saqvan says Goodrich mentioned as connected to the account. Neil Nydegger is Hooman’s former patent lawyer; the $61,587,000 verdict is public on Who is Hooman Asbaghi. Putting that verdict inside an AT&T conspiracy caption would weaken both. The list is on the 2024 face. It is not a finding those people ran the store.

Saqvan Ali to Hooman — first recorded outreach

Gmail still. Highlighting is in the saved capture. App name is quoted as he wrote it; this site does not reprint how-to.

13 February 2020, Saqvan Ali writes to Hooman. Body, as printed: “June 24 2018 kameron panahi and I Saqvan Ali helped out a lady who ran into the store saying that hooman took my phone.” They realized it was “hooman asbaghi sister.” She “kept saying please delete the iCloud that’s on the phone.” Kameron and Saqvan “both told her we can’t do it.” She named an app — “Auto forward spy” — and asked whether he could see her calls and texts. Saqvan’s contemporaneous sentence: “they were out to spy on him and the best connection they had was sister.”

Establishes. An AT&T employee wrote to the customer, in 2020, about a June 24 2018 store incident involving Hooman’s sister, an iCloud delete request, and a refusal. That is the earliest dated written outreach in this warehouse. It is not a 2024 reconstruction. Kameron Panahi is named as present.

Does not establish. Does not prove the sister committed a crime. Does not prove iCloud access as a technical fact — it proves what Saqvan wrote that she asked for. Does not teach how any app works. Later statements date a sister incident to early 2019; that date conflict stays on this page. A 2020 email is a witness writing to the subject, not a court finding.

AT&T Store San Diego Del Mar Highlands — 3435 Del Mar Heights Rd, Suite D2

Public store page. Suite D2 is the store. His residence is not printed on this site.

AT&T Store San Diego Del Mar Highlands. Address on the locator: 3435 Del Mar Heights Rd., Suite D 2. Map pins Del Mar Heights Rd / Long Run Dr / El Camino Real. This is the store named in the 2020 email, the 2024 statement, and the 2026 declaration.

Establishes. A real AT&T retail store exists at that public address. The witness file is about this location, not a generic “an AT&T.” Proximity of that store to where he lived is circumstantial geography. The store address is public; the home address stays off this page.

Does not establish. Does not prove anything that happened inside. Does not print or confirm a residential unit. A map pin is not a finding of tracking.

Retail Sales Consultant Mar 2014 – Sep 2015. Sales Execution Feb 2019 – Aug 2019, San Diego. That Del Mar manager window covers June 24 2018 and the 2018 conversations Saqvan attributes to him.

Establishes. A public career page puts John Goodrich in the Del Mar AT&T store-manager seat for June 2017 through January 2019. That is the right name, the right title, the right store city, in the window the witness describes. It is not proof of the quote. It is proof the person the witness named was there.

Does not establish. Does not prove he said “Hooman's not crazy. These crazy ass people track him all day.” That sentence is Saqvan’s. Does not prove he collected SIM receipts or passed names. A LinkedIn title is not a finding of wrongdoing.

LinkedIn still: Jesus M. Barraza, MBA, Associate Director of Sales Business Development | Community Engagement, Chula Vista, California. Area Retail Sales Manager, full-time, July 2014 – March 2025, Chula Vista: “Company Owned and Authorized Retail locations. Responsible for 17 AT&T distribution points.” Earlier: Las Vegas area manager; San Diego U-verse; San Diego company-owned retail. The 2026 declaration calls him District Manager and says he told Saqvan to stay away from matters involving Hooman.

Establishes. A public career page puts Jesus M. Barraza over San Diego–area AT&T retail, including a 2014–2025 area-manager seat covering seventeen distribution points, through the years Saqvan names. Right name, right company, right region, overlapping years. District-level match, not a name pulled from nowhere.

Does not establish. Does not print “Del Mar Highlands” on these stills. Area manager for seventeen points is not the same line as store manager of Suite D2. Does not prove he ordered SIM collection or account access. 2026 says District Manager; LinkedIn says Area Retail Sales Manager — keep both wordings. Not a finding of wrongdoing.

His account26 Mar 2024
Saqvan Ali — signed statement, 26 March 2024

Two-page signed statement. Date of birth on the face. Signature block 3-26-24 / Saqvan Ali.

Handwritten-style statement signed Saqvan Ali, 26 March 2024. He writes he was an assistant manager at the Del Mar Heights AT&T office, started March 2018, met Hooman about July 2018 on a personal post-paid account, and later learned John Goodrich had signed a Direct TV business account about twelve months earlier. Employees were told that if Hooman came in for a phone, hotspot, or SIM, the manager on duty had to take the SIM-card receipt; he says those numbers were passed to district managers Jesus Barraza and Brian Brown; assistant manager Stephen Eisermann was to report in-store activity. He says staff were briefed that Hooman was “crazy and Schizophrenic.” Page 2: early 2019, the sister ran into the Del Mar store about her iCloud — “delete everything because he will see” — on a phone Hooman had bought to give his mother. Name list “constantly mentioned by John Goodrich”: Larry Lendre, Mark Baum, Mark Rosen, Jesus Barraza, Ashley Kieth, Neil Nydegger, Emma & Rodney Crooks. March 2024 encounter with Kathy Amir Teymour, who asked why Hooman was spending time out of the country.

Establishes. A signed 2024 statement exists. It names the Del Mar store, Goodrich, Barraza, Brian Brown, Eisermann, a SIM-receipt practice, a sister/iCloud incident, and a March 2024 Kathy Amir Teymour encounter. It is the same witness as the 2020 email, four years later, on paper with a date and a signature.

Does not establish. Not a court finding. “Ghosted” SIMs and remote access are his opinion of why receipts were collected — this site does not reprint a method. Phantom Secure and Anom are program names in this 2024 text; they are not independently verified here, and the 2026 notarized declaration does not repeat them. Do not rest the chapter on those two names. Employment as “assistant manager / started March 2018” conflicts with the 2026 face (CSR, January 2017–March 2021). Sister dated early 2019 here and June 24 2018 in the 2020 email. Names on the Goodrich list are names he says were mentioned — including Nydegger, who is Hooman’s former patent lawyer with a public verdict. A name on that list is not a finding the person ran the store. Date of birth held off.
