The Hooman Asbaghi Case

A filing is not a verdict. Nothing on this site is a finding of liability.

Section 04g

The family loan

A First Republic Bank notice dated 5 January 2017 confirms an outgoing wire of $950,000 from an account in the name of Ommid S. Asbaghi, trustee of the Asbaghi Revocable Trust. This page is that face. Street and account last-four are on the face. The beneficiary is not.

What the notice actually prints

Bank letterhead. A date. A trustee. An amount. The operational story — that this was a family loan being moved, returned, or hidden — is his label until a beneficiary line or a second page says so. The paper is stronger than the label.

Outgoing, $950,000

First Republic Bank, “WIRE TRANSFER NOTICE / CONFIRMATION OF AUTHORIZED TRANSFER.” Notice date 01/05/17. Transaction amount $950,000.00. Fee $30.00. The form says this confirms an outgoing wire transfer.

Ommid, on the Asbaghi Revocable Trust

Named: Ommid S Asbaghi, TTEE of the Asbaghi Revocable Trust, DTD 06/01/2011. Who is Ommid Asbaghi is the same person. This is that money window, not a second sister page.

Documented · no beneficiary

No beneficiary on this face

From-account is printed. A To: party is not. Filename says Returner. That word is not on the bank form. This still does not prove the money landed with him, with her, or offshore.

Context · why it sits here

Family paper, not a tax case

The company door is financial exclusion from Padtan Elm. This is a different piece of family money, on a U.S. bank notice, about fifteen months after the 9 October 2015 right replacement. He says a second $950,000 followed on 1 May 2017. No bank face for that second date is in the file. It does not prove the company claim and it does not disprove it. Street and last-four are on the face.

The statement for the same day prints a domestic-wire debit of $950,000. The line names Hooman Asbaghi. The notice above still does not name a beneficiary.

First Republic — outgoing wire notice, Ommid as trustee, $950,000

iPhone still of a First Republic Bank wire-transfer notice. Account last-four and street on the face. Notice date and amount stay.

WIRE TRANSFER NOTICE / CONFIRMATION OF AUTHORIZED TRANSFER. First Republic Bank. Notice Date 01/05/17. Page 1. Named on the face: Ommid S Asbaghi, TTEE of the Asbaghi Revocable Trust, DTD 06/01/2011. “This is to confirm the following outgoing wire transfer.” Transaction Date 01/05/17. Transaction Amount $950,000.00. Fee $30.00. Street and remaining account digits are on this raster. No beneficiary line is on this face.

Establishes. A First Republic confirmation exists for an outgoing wire dated 5 January 2017, $950,000 plus a $30 fee, from an account in the name of Ommid S. Asbaghi as trustee of the Asbaghi Revocable Trust dated 1 June 2011. That is family-trust paper. It is not a reconstruction.

Does not establish. The beneficiary is not printed on this still — this is not a finding who received the money, and it is not a finding it was paid to Hooman. It is not a tax-evasion finding. Account last-four and street are on the face. A filename that says Returner is his label, not a line on the bank form.
