OEM
What OEM means, what the archived site offered, what the Thermo calendar is, and what is not in this file.

- UnconfirmedIn the file, not established
OEM is contract manufacturing. One company designs the product. Another plant builds it to that specification, often under the designer’s name. In his account, Thermo Fisher is the designer and Padtan Elm is the plant. That account is not a contract.
Archived padtan.com offered OEM contract manufacturing, antibody purification, conjugation, microplate coating, lyophilization. LinkedIn still claims ISO 13485 and ISO 9001. Thermo’s own OEM plant that is public is the Vilnius Molecular Biology Center of Excellence. That plant is in Lithuania. It is not Padtan Elm. The archived Services page that offered that OEM copy is on padtan.com.
Thermo calendar — adjacency, labeled
These deals are real. They do not name Padtan. Life Technologies was a Carlsbad sequencing company. That is a San Diego fact. It is not a Padtan closing statement. Bio-Rad is not a Thermo company.

Unconfirmed: a Thermo–Padtan OEM contract. That Thermo bought Padtan Elm in any of those deals. Creative Commons is a public-copyright tool. It is not how Thermo acquires assets. The 2014 annual report is Thermo Fisher’s 2014 10-K. It does not name Padtan Elm.
Return: What is Padtan Elm.
